My interest in photography developed at a very young age when my dad took me and my brothers for trips around the globe. He is my very first teacher who taught me the importance of photography. When I was 15 years old, my mom enrolled me in Raghu Rai Center for Photography where I learnt from Nitin Rai, son of Raghu Rai. Even though it was a short journey, I took something along with me that has helped redefine me. It taught me how to visualize every aspect of life and be grateful for your surroundings because every second counts. It taught me to look at humans as not just people but souls drowned in emotions.

I feel more comfortable in clicking monochrome pictures as I believe that colours distract the viewers from the purpose of the photograph. Black and White helps centralize the essence and the thought that has gone behind capturing that moment.

I dream to one day travel the world alone with my camera and just look at all the wonders this planet has to offer us from behind a lens.
